Microsoft Excel and Access – useful shortcuts using the CTRL key
Use the CTRL key and shortcut keys to quickly insert information into cells:
- To quickly copy the content of the cell above press CTRL + “ (quotation mark)
- To quickly insert today’s date into a cell press CTRL + ; (semi-colon)
- To quickly insert the time into a cell press CTRL + : (colon)
- ….and remember, the wonderful CTRL + Z key combination will always Undo your last action.
