Module 1: Introduction to Office 365

Office 365. What is it? What does working in the Cloud mean and what are the benefits? And how are the apps different - Cloud apps vs Desktop apps?


Module 2: Create and Save

Saving to the cloud is a new concept. Understand how Office 365 saves, where it saves and how you can now roll back to another version. Gain an understanding of the additional storage areas available when you use Office 365, when to use them and why, i.e. what is SharePoint and how does it differ from OneDrive?


Module 3: Sharing

Sharing has taken on a whole new meaning! You can now share documents with others and even work on them at the same time! Learn how your information is now super accessible and easy to share. Gain an understanding of what it means to be Mobile and how everything is connected.


Module 4: Keep working uninterrupted

Learn what  you need to know to keep working in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook uninterrupted. Understand what's different in the Office 365 desktop apps, like Word and Excel, compared to earlier versions of Office.

Q: What is the duration of the short course?

A: 2 hours

Q: Is this training suitable for the Mac version of Office 365

No, sorry. Even though you would most likely learn a lot that would be applicable to the Mac version, the training has been created for the Windows version for PC only.

Q: Is this suitable for an absolute beginner?

A: this workshop is PERFECT for an absolute beginner.

Q: What do I need to know before I attend?

As this is a beginner level course the only prerequisite is that you are proficient in using the Microsoft® Windows environment, a mouse and keyboard.

Q: Can you come onsite to deliver the training?

Absolutely! We can bring the training to you. That’s right! We come onsite to your place of work on a day and time that works for you. Avoid traffic and parking hassles and learn at work. And if you don’t have training laptops, we can lend you some. We have 6 to share.

Q: Can you supply training laptops for us to use?​​​​

Yes! We have 6 to share. All have Microsoft Office 365 licenses.

Q: Do you have a limit to the number of attendees?

Yes. We have a minimum of 4, maximum of 8 (please see minimum booking requirements below).

Q: Do you offer 1-on-1 sessions?

Q: What age is this appropriate for?

The training is aimed at adults so the minimum age we recommend is 18 years old. We look forward to hearing from you again when you are over 18.
